Here is a shot of the five fox kits just moments after the adult went back into the woods. The adult had just called them out from the den for the first time that day and the kits appeared sleepy and reluctant to run around at first. For a minute or two they just hung out at the entrance to the den in a pile like you see here. After several yawns they started to run around and chase each other. They sure were cute!
