Frozen Waves of Ice

Winter mornings on Lake Superior are the best!  Even when those mornings are nothing but bitter, below zero cold with a strong wind out of the north.  The cold, harsh climate makes for scenes that I absolutely love photographing.  In this scene you can see where the waves from the lake are throwing rocks up onto the ice and the rocks end up freezing within the continuously forming layers of ice.
