One of my favorite bits of moving water to photograph. The "standing wave" at the top edge of the rapids just upstream from Middle Falls on the Pigeon River. There is this beautiful, extremely photogenic standing wave that exists at the point where the water first drops down into the rapids. It always makes for an intriguing photograph, but especially so when the water level is high like it is now.
