Last night I was finally able to get out and photograph a sunset that had some color in it! Seems like this winter virtually every time I've gone out for sunset it's been a predominantly gray one. I was starting to get tired of that trend so I was happy to see it come to an end last night. I visited a piece of shoreline that I hadn't photographed in quite a while and was delighted to see these ice cakes floating close to shore. Thanks to the calm water it was easy to see the rocks on the lake bottom in between the floating pieces of ice. It sure was a beautiful evening!
