What a sublime weekend on the Gunflint Trail! It seemed like everyone was out having a great time, no matter what their pursuit of choice was. I saw lots of snowmobilers, I met some snowshoers while hiking up to this overlook and then saw these 3 people in the distance skiing across the lake. Everyone that I ran into had big smiles on their faces and were so amazed at how pretty everything was with the dumping of snow we just received! Northeast Minnesota is an amazing place that I am thankful to call my home :-)
