Yesterday morning's sunrise over the Grand Portage forest in northeast Minnesota. It was so cloudy we weren't sure the sun was going to peek out but it eventually did a few times. During one of those brief moments I made this photograph and happened to catch a really nice lens flare too. The fall colors are a little weird this year. So many of the leaves seem to just be turning brown rather turning a nice vibrant color. Still, the forest is always a beautiful place to be even if the colors aren't prime this year :-)
