NPS Corral - Mineral King Valley
Our last stop of the day before heading back to the cabin for dinner was the National Park Service corral. I wanted to see the horses and mules that Jessica is so fond of. Once we got to the corral it was obvious that the animals had just been fed, as they had pretty much no interest in us watching them and were focused on eating. Jessica said usually they are very friendly and will walk up to you standing at the fence. The corral sure is in a picturesque location, with a view of the valley looking up at some of the surrounding peaks. It was a nice end to our first full day of adventure together in California :-)
